Asus Rt-n66u On Sky Fibre

How to set up asus rt-n66u to work with sky fibre mer. this is a discussion on how to set up asus rt-n66u to work with sky fibre mer within the asking for help forums, part of the broadband technical help category; hi, i've just purchased a 3 months old asus rt-n66u router from ebay asus 450 mbps 5-port gigabit wireless n. I am a sky broadband customer (not fibre). i have the router sky sr-102 and it's not really good... so i purchased a router asus rt-n66u. given that this router does not have a modem, i also found an openreach eci modem on ebay. i managed to extract my username and password from the sky hub so all good here.. No such problems on the asus stock fw, but i can't find a way to run with my sky fibre without merlin..... so now i have ordered a rt ac 86, and want to know what is the best way to configure. asus ai-mesh sounded like a great way to re-utilise my 88 on stock f/w as a node, but it doesn't look like i can get mesh with merlin..

Help! how do i get asus rt-n66u working on sky fibre. this is a discussion on help!how do i get asus rt-n66u working on sky fibre within the sky broadband (fibre) help forums, part of the sky broadband help and support category; hi, please can anyone tell me how to set up an asus rt-n66u to work on sky fibre broadband. i. *** repost from my deleted thread in another much less successful and "rude word" obsessed forum *** for anyone interested in replacing their sky fibre router with a much more superior device, the asus rt-n66u router now has basic support for sky fibre when using merlin's r10 firmware:. I have contacted asus who have given me some rather "generic" answers, but i still can't get this working. i have no problems at all connecting directly to the phone line using the vdsl settings bypassing the need for the supplied bt openreach modem. but doing this, i can't connect to the talktalk plus tv channels (401 sky 1, 402 etc)..
