What i usually do is download the flash player from adobe's site (since i use a 64-bit system, i download the 64-bit plugin). extract package. then, in a terminal, run gksudo nautilus. extract the package by right-clicking on the downloaded package and selecting "extract here". enter the folder and you will find a file named libflashplayer.so.. Note: adobe flash player 11.2 will be the last version to target linux as a supported platform. adobe will continue to provide security backports to flash player 11.2 for linux. so, if you look in your /opt/google/chrome/ you'll find a pepflash directory, where inside there is a .so file ( libpepflashplayer.so )..
Adobe flash player (firefox, mozilla, opera, chrome) 64-bit v11.6.602.180 stub installer for who knows what? the current 32-bit version of flash player is v16.0.0.305 which appears to work quite well on win7x64, so if this download really does point to v11.6x its a version well-proven to have serious security flaws.. Adobe flash player 64 bit f... adobe flash player 12 beta... adode flash player 11 64 bi... adobe flash player 11 1 102... adobe flash player beta 64... adobe flash for linux; adobe flash player. 32- and 64-bit (unless noted): microsoft
